This is what she wants

by Alexandra Jade Brewer   Jan 3, 2008

She wants those little fights
That occur late at night
She wants those little kisses
The little things she misses
She wants to hear your voice
Encouraging her to make the right choice
She wants to see you smile
To light the way for a mile
She wants you to take her hand
Help her walk across unsteady land
She wants to see you cry
When she's spread her wings to fly
Tears of joy and happiness
To add a little sappiness
She wants to talk to you
When she doesn't know what to do
She wants to see her mother
Along with her younger brother
She wants to understand
Why you let go of her hand
She wants to yell and scream
Because of that stupid dream
She wants to know your there
When the rest of the world don't care
She wants to hear mommy sing
Because of the happiness it would bring

But mommy wont be there
She no longer cares
She gave up years ago
When life got to low

    The poem is absolutely awesome...
i wonder why people are downrating...
    seems unfair... it deserves a 10... =))
this is a really sad poem and a very emotional one...the write is amazing...
i wonder if the first stanza wouldn't look better if you split it in half (or more)...just for an easier read...
    besides that very small point...
    it is absolutely great...
    *keep going*

It's a cute poem, but it was kind of hard to follow, there was no real topic about it, just kind of random, though if that's what you were going for then it's very good! If not, then maybe try to switch lines around to make it flow a little easier.

I like this poem, beautifully written with a good choice of words, the sadness is strong in this poem, it really screams out in your words. The word flow is good to. I just had to keep reading. Well done.
