Feel Alright.

It's like
an uncontrollable feeling,
overtaking my soul,
my heart - my life.
Making me fear tomorrow,
that you won't be there,
when I awake -
holding me so tightly.

And, I feel the need to
look you in the eyes,
and say the words -
I never truly meant.
For, I know I mean them
when i say them to you -
but, I refuse, my darling
to go through this again

You've done it once,
you'll do it again -
the pain, the tears -
it's all too much to deal with.
I shall make myself move on,
for enough is enough;
and, though they say with love,
enough is never too much...

I've proved them wrong.
I've given you my all,
fought for you, died for you-
from the inside out.
I've proven my feelings
a hundred times and more,
that come from deep within my soul;
something that once made me
completely whole.

I can't fall out of love with you,
but I know I can not want you -
and the ways you have.
the thoughts you think,
and the emotions you show.
it's all too much for me, darling
burning a million holes -
within my heart.

I can't seem to realize
the realization of love;
no one can love without
the others love -
and, you've not shown me
your true feelings
lying deep within yourself,
that never get out.

And, I'm fighting back tears.
As I recall past years,
and everything I ever dreamt,
all including you.
And, only you.
everything about you -
i dream of, everynight;
just to, just to -
just to make me feel alright.

    Well, not many people can pull off a long poem, but yours was definately amazing. The feeling in this was so powerful and the flow fit just right. Great job! 5/5

    Wow, wow... absolutely amazing piece...
    Overwhelming sadness runs wild through every stanza, implanting into reader's mind. Whole poem is filled with excellently expressed emotions and it touched me deeply. I love the way you wrote it- straight to the point- because the whole piece sounds like it's written straight from the heart with such sincerity.
    The flow is flawless from the beginning to the end.
    Overall, fantastic love piece.
    My favorite stanza is:

    -

    This poem is marvellous...=)
    it is really deep and emotional...
    it is just so easy to relate to... even when you give your own heart to the person you love, that person might just throw it away... it's not fair to love without being loved...
