The Beautiful Affliction

by Simply Josh   Jan 8, 2008

You gave me an identity
So now I seek my destiny
I used to live for the weekend
But now I live for eternity

I have learnt to restrain
For You are my Saviour
I have lost my options
'Cause I have Your favour

I thank You for Your grace
I have shut my front door
There's no one else I want
Only You, more and more

No longer will I turn back
To the ways of the past
You have given me my future
The ways of the old, I will cast

I will be a rock
Not a stumbling wall
You are my shield
Who'll never fall

I come into Your presence
To seek and worship You
I'll carry Your people
Carry a lot, not a few

"Greater is He that's in me than he that is in the world." 1 John 4:4
