A Letter From Nowhere

by Absinth Eyes   Jan 13, 2008

Hey there, pretty girl
Can you fly with angels yet?
Did your heart come back again?
You know, I miss you

Have you seen the dreamers waking?
Have you found the fallen's wings?
Are you a savior, real and live?
When can I see you?

Can you see past the horizon?
Did you watch when the clouds died?
Have you found a place called home yet?
How long until you're real again?

Have you lost every sensation?
Is there silver in your skies?
Have you fixed the missing pieces?
Have you seen through your own eyes?

Are there faces on the traintracks?
Have you smiled, have you laughed?
And when you finally find something
Are you ever coming back?

Oh our darling pretty girl
Our shattered little songstress
Our lost bird in her wild cage
You need to come back home

You once swam through seas of sorrow
To reach the shore alive and dry
Now you're treading open waters
Eyes set on higher tides

I won't forget you.
