I've decided to repost some of my older poems, this one was written in April of 2006.

Dark Knight

I felt you last night
holding me in your arms
kissing sweet lips
making me feel all warm

You stayed there in the dark
caressing the fears away
watching for the shadows
keeping them at bay

When I awoke this morning
the sun was shining bright
you were no longer there
but my soul has seen the light

For now I shall smile
remembering your tenderness
waiting until I will once again
slumber in your peacefulness

    Your choice of words in this poem is outstanding, very unqiue and whole piece is priceless! Honestly I enjoyed in every line, very deep and greatly written, I love it, you should be proud on your ability to write something incredible as this.

    This is truly beautiful from the beginning to the end. It has serene rhythm and flawless flow in each stanza. You created wonderful and interesting imagery and the emotions are expressed greatly.
    My favorite stanza is:

    - You stayed there in the dark
    caressing the fears away
    watching for the shadows
    keeping them at bay-
