Water And Fire

by JEFF   Jan 23, 2008

You have told me your water,
You have told me I'm fire.
You have told me when mixed
There steams of desire.

I believe this is true,
And can not complain.
I can only hope,
I don't really go insane.

I think of you,
Every second of everyday.
Longing to hold you in my arms,
And never go away.

When our bodies converge,
And the steam starts to rise.
And the water consumes,
my fire's from deep inside.

As you extinguish my flame,
And the smoke starts to clear.
I pull you in close,
And whisper my feelings into your ear.

As the moisture disappears,
And my skin begins to dry.
My fire reignites,
As i watch it burn in your eyes.
