The Vision of Power

The broken state, where I can't take the pain.

Deep within the shadows my demon whispers.

An end to all this hurt of everything.

His legacy of evil, mine if I just reach.

Pax to the dark and endless battle.

No more suffering unto this pariah self.

This tainted force, the power to wound souls.

Forget the time of lurking in pity and silent horror.

You've all betrayed me in your own little ways.

I'm not your play thing, your colorless toy.

Now its time to face the creature inside my mind.

Sick of holding on to love and hope.

Choke out the sanity; make sure that I'm nothing left.

Your cries mean nothing to this shade of hate.

Suffer unto me you taker of everything free.

I want your despair, your blood and tears.

People are pathetic in their hypocritical lives.

Empty this darkness in you and take control.

You deserve this for all your games and lies.

All this shall be mine if I but embrace an evil fate.

Yet I shudder at the realms of madness.

For now I chain such things deep within.

I shall stay numb and slowly fade away.

But the power tempts me more each day.....
