All This For A Boy

by lost in the words   Jan 28, 2008

Tears stream down her horrified face
Gasping for breath as she dries her eyes
Realizing the one she loved doesn't love her
It was all just a part of his stupid disguise

She feels a need to rip open her flesh
And outdraw some of her crimson blood
But she fights off her urge to do so
Watching as her tears turn into a heavy flood

All this for a boy that had taken her heart
But not for all the love that lied inside
More so that he could break it over and over
Not realizing what he had done so he denied

She felt as if she had turned into nothing
Felt as worthless as an old pair of socks
With all the rips and wears marked in her
No wonder she was just thrown into the box

Why put love into someone if it ends like this
Why care so much when you'rethe only one
She realizes that she can't do this anymore
She simply must get over him and move on
