Pushing Me Away

by Alexandra Jade Brewer   Jan 29, 2008

If you wonder why we don't talk
Why our conversations have gone astray
It's because your pushing me away
With every angry word you say

I don't know who are anymore
Somethings just not the same
Nothings ever enough for you
I can't seem to win this morbid game

Its now become to common
For you to be mad at me
That I'm afraid to even speak
Your destroying us can't you see?

Your pushing this way to far
I don't deserve this treatment
Your the cause of all my tears
And not getting any of my hints

My words now scare me
Writing about broken angels and being alone
Your actions confuse me so much
And I'm not made of stone

    Nice job
the first stanza for me was a little weak with all the end rhyme. the last stanza was a little off on flow. the emotion was okay. but the message was really good go with the same mesage and make this stronger

The ending of this piece is firm and speaks for itself. The whole poem is an exposition for the strong ending you wrote. The choosing of words and flow led to this amazing meaning: you just can't take it! nice work 5/5
