Moonlight Dance

by Letty   Feb 2, 2008

The moon is always bright,
Whenever I see it through your eyes.
You carry me down the lane called memory,
Catching me by surprise.

Holding hands we are,
Two happy people deep in love.
Creating a picture of wild meadow flowers,
While strangers are watching us.

Leaping over any obstacles,
That happens to fall down in our way.
Hearing the whispers of other couples,
Wishing their love was still ablaze.

The grass surrounding us
Is as green as the Ocean is blue.
Through the moonlight everything is so different,
But I know it displays the truth.

I can smell each and every flower,
As if I held each one in the palm of my hands.
You signal a sign to the clear night sky,
Then the Heavens disburse a band.

Blaring trumpets begin the number,
As the stars couples to dance.
The harp eases in ever so slowly,
After the solo of the violin.

I hum the tune you sing instead,
With a voice created by Michael Angelo himself.
That was the day my heart soared higher,
The day we created, the moonlight dance.

Love the imagery and the leap you took to approach certain topics. Great movement, They all had a sort of transition that flowed with the next idea. Very unique!
