You'd be surprised

Everyday is the same old thing,
He goes to school,
Doesn't learn anything

Hangs out with his friends,
He acts like he's fine
But whenever they ask if he's ok,
He just lies

They don't know what's going on,
And he does want to tell them
But he figures they have enough troubles of their own,
So he keeps everything to himself, alone

They keep asking,
He keeps lying,
"Are you ok? What's the matter?"
"I'm good, nothings wrong, I'm fine,"
But you can tell he's lying, by looking in his eyes

But they figure it's nothing important,
What could be wrong in his perfect, awesome life?
What could POSSIBLY make him sad about anything?
Well, if he ever finally told you,
