I wish..

I wish that i could put it into words
i wish that you could understand
how i feel exactly
when i hold your hands

more of you i want each day
this simply won't suffice
I'm sick and tired of doing this
I am done playing nice

forget the world is watching
forget that we're too wrong
i wish the world were perfect
like some crazy love song

Unfortunately, the world never worked that way
even though it should
i think that we can last forever
i really think we could
what we have is good
