A Lonesome Heart Prayer

I raise my voice to the sky
Hoping that god would hear my prayer
And answer this lonesome heart desire
I wish on a star that I could fly away
Into the infinite sky
Where love and hope lie
Where I can rest in peace
Between those I hold so dear
I wish that I could flutter my wings
And allow my dreams to take me there
To smell that warm breeze
And feel on my check
To taste that heavenly overwhelming sensation
And hold its memory forever in my heart
I am alone in this world beyond
With no light to brighten my life
My heart is lonesome with no companion
And my soul has lost its compassion
Solitary fills my life with its tears and cries
I need to soar away and throw this pain behind
To forget all about these scars that caused ache to my heart
Am afraid that my life would end before I have the chance
To live that life I always wished to have
What if tomorrow never comes
And all I end up to have is yesterday
So dear god hear my plead
For its my only entreat
My time is running and am still standing here
With my dreams
Help me escape and run away from this existence
For all I want to do is race the stars to the moon
