Darkness consumes where once eyes glowed,
Sadness becoming the only thing known...

A representation, just a thought,
Forgets all the times we have fought...

Forgive my shattered heart will you?
It never meant to hurt...

The light pursues like ever before,
An open door can't be ignored...

If I was upset for a cause unknown,
And cried for no reason at all...

A lilac placed upon her heart,
As she exits her new found world...

Darkness falls as death departs,
Constant with all thats done this far...

Black birds singing in the middlle of the night,
Possums frolicking in morning light...

Icy tears of forsaken shades,
Grey falling down her face...

I never got to run to you and yell 'Daddy's home',
Instead I got home myself and walked in alone...

Minutes leaving, tears falling,
Hopes abandoned, is it any surprise...
