I'm late home again as the sunsets in
The night settles quickly darkness so cold...

Cant believe another year has past
My baby boy he grows so fast...

When you just called, I didn’t know what to...
It was kind of out of the blue, and weird in a way...

I hate to hear my girl is feeling sad
And lately that her days have been blue...

I can almost remember the day you were born
Seeing you so tiny lying in that hospital bed...

I once loved you more than anything
I once wanted no body else...

** This is dedicated to my girl who moved away and...
Lonnie you know you’re like my best girl...

A year of her time that she can never replace,
A heart full of hope thrown back in her face...
