Honestly, Abby has really brought PnQ together. I've loved every minute of this (well almost... not the fact I was up at 3am last night because fellow M&Ms were only up at that time! Silly timezones)

Though I do feel like I might turn into an actual mad hatter, first this & now I have to make over 600 origami paper cranes for an art installation I am doing...

Thank you Abby for this incredible marathon. I haven't stayed up this late in ages ... lol But it did prove that an old gal like me still got some zip in her ... lol

But like Mel said, it has brought many members of PNQ together and brought spirit back to these main forums.
And even with a few hours to go and my eyes drooping ... the M&M's will be there to the end ... woooot

Fantastic job all the clubs did and I look forward to reading everyone's work.

Last time I checked (this morning) there were nearly 1400 contest-relate posts made in this section of the forum since the start of the relay. There was enough activity to kick us off the server multiple times. Thousands of poems have been written.

This got way more participation than I thought it would! It started off slow but Abby enticed us with HHs and extra points. Pretty sure no one can top this

Heyyyy... just noticed this! Wow, thank you, lovelies. How kind and totally unexpected.

I'm glad you're all battling with such a strong mixture of love and hate for me right now. I find it an invigorating mix and I deserve both.

But it's all over now. I've made another thread for celebration/resentment/anxiety to be expressed. Please answer the questions, I'd love your feedback.

I'm not sure I'd do this again. I might (am thinking of a cross-club competition with even-sized teams- much later in the future), but it will never be the same again. People know what to expect now, in terms of active participation. This first contest truly was a random test of club dedication. But I invite others to host it next time.

I realise many of you have been giving up sleep, appointments, work meetings, sports practice, study time, care-taking of infants, housework, quality time with your partner, and possibly sex- just so you could be here on time for your club. I never expected this much commitment, but I'm glad to see you all here.

I hope we do this kinda thing more often.
