Panic! At the Disco

Well, recently it was my birthday, and i received a Panic! At the Disco CD. And I love it. Funny how that is. I am hoping they come out with another CD. Does anyone have any information about that, or just like them?

Ohmygod. I looooooooooooove Panic! At the Disco!!!

The album cover is unique..really interesting. And I hate how people always compare them to Fall Out Boy because they're so different to me.

Partially because Fall Out Boy SUCKS Live. And P!AtD is nothing short of amazing. NOT TO MENTION THE LEAD SINGER IS FUN TO LOOK AT!! lol!!

thank you for the belated birthday :] . And I love that video. For the other comment, i agree, fall out boy SUCKS. lol. I find it cool how their song names have *almost* nothing to do with the songs.heehee

Just so you know. The reason people compare them to Fall Out Boy is because the singers voices are almost exactly the same. Really, I conducted an experiment. I found some people who hadn't heard Fall Out Boy, Panic! and The Academy Is... and guess what. They thought they were all the same band. The only thing different is Panic! has a little catchier lyrics. Oh wow. There's nothing special about them except that.

So for all of you who say Fall Out Boy sucks. Well you're practically insulting Panic and The Academy Is as well. Nice job.

Well, considering Panic! is basically parodying all those other bands, I can see why they would sound similar.

But, I don't know, I can tell the difference between Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, and The Academy Is, but that is because they are three bands that have distinctly different 'styles' of emo.

There are several other bands, however, that I can't distinguish The Academy Is on sound alone. I classify these bands as "crap emo" bands.

Fall Out Boy would be "digital distortion emo" or, in other words, "Our vocals suck and instruments are out of tune, but that's okay because we just cover it up with these computer distortions. And if sounds sloppy that's okay because it's hardcore!"

But then, I have a very trained ear.

They are kinda catchy. Prefer the heavier stuff though.

Tony-you're wrong. i already explained the difference and FALL OUT BOY SUCKS with Live performances. I, for one, don't really think their voices are the same in any way. And it doesn't surprise me their style is similar is because Pete whatever his last name is, in FOB found the band and they're on the same record label.

I love Fallout Boy too. I love both. Lol.. Hmm..Okay I'll just go now. =]

I wasn't talking about live performances was I? Exactly. I said I showed the bands to people who didn't know who they were. And probably didn't have trained ears like the poster above. On their mastered albums the vocals are very similar. I said nothing instrumentally. Although I think there isn't anything very special in any of them.

So. Ha.

I am in love with them.

I know about every song by heart.

and I pray that a new album will come out soon.

They're my favorite band. Ever. In life.

Now some bands that are musically talented.. For instance. The Fall of Troy.

As for Panic! At The Disco, well I have to admit that I do like them, which is odd, as they clash with everything else that I listen to. I think they're just great to dance to.

i actually usually dislike these emo bands such as fall out boy and hawthorne heights, but for some reason i love panic! at the disco.
the song titles are awesome! like "Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off"

I love their lyrics, very clever. My fave song by them is between Camisado and It's Time to Dance.

Riteeeee, well i hate panic, the first time i eva heard their songs i was like ohhh god not another one of them. seriously there all the same. just whinging and complaining in a high pitch girly voice. but that's just my opinion.

I'm not to much into them. They just aren't my style. But I'm glad you got a cd that you enjoyed. :)

Ooo. My favorite song is Its Time To Dance but I prefer the Demo version rather then the CD version.

Yeah they are pretty good. FOB is about equal with them, but that is my opinion.

Well they are still rpetty new so i am sure theyll have another album out some time

BRENDON URIE IS NOT GAY. They are coming out with a new CD this fall (2007) I LOVE THEMMMMM!!!!!!!!! I was obsessed!!!!!!!! Ryan Ross is straighter than Brendon (EVEN THOUGH I LVOE BRENDON LIKE MADD) And...Umm.... Panic! ROCKS MY WORLD> Sorry I love them a lil too much....
