What's you favorite type of poem??

    Do you like acrostic etc.?? Do you like sad, happy poems etc??

    I honestly like sad poems, but that kinda makes me look depressed.

    I like rhyming poems,they can be about anything as long as they touch the heart in some way or really make you think. beautiful imagery is great for me also.

    For me, my favorite type of poem is Love (specifically Romantic & Erotic love poems). I think - when done well and well written - they are outstanding. I enjoy writing and reading them, and strive to write them superlatively, to write outstanding poems of those areas, as the ones I myself enjoy reading. My favorite formats to use when writing these such poems are Odes, Sonnets, and Acrostics. I also use free rhyming - focusing in on rhyme and rhythm specifically.

    I like confessional poetry. I am greatly inspired by Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton. I also enjoy many romantic poets like William Blake and Keats. And then the dark stuff is fun like E. A. Poe =]

    My favourite would have to be love and friendship poetry. Poetry that rhymes is good as well. When I'm feeling depressed I like reading depressing poetry...for some reason it make me feel a bit better
