Sunrise

by cassie hughes   Aug 10, 2014

Sunrise shining 'cross the oceans swell
lights upon the shingles
and in its glow I see your eyes.
They shone for me and me alone.
Dancing through the street
the sunlights opening beams
play upon each and every stone.
A feathers touch of love.
Just as your heart wound
around the core of mine
then pulled away to hide within
the shadows of the dusky eve.
But sunrise brings another dawn
and in its crimson glow I find
the solace of your arms again.
To shine for you and you alone.

Another really beautiful piece, picked because it had not been commented on which is criminal. Was hooked from the beautiful first line. A really tight and neat piece of work Cassie - stunning!
