Bob The Mad Bunny (Meets His Match)

by JEFF   Feb 15, 2008

So Bob this crazy mad bunny,
Is up to no good again.
Killing everything he thinks is funny,
Thinking he can always win.

Well finally one dark gloomy day,
Bob met his ultimate match.
A bad cat name Basil came his way,
Who is white with a gray patch.

Basil was completely pissed off,
He had been left out in the rain.
Ran into Bob in the woods playing golf,
Both locked eyes, feeling no pain.

Basil jumping, taking to the air,
Bob slides under for an upper cut.
Basil's claws come flying from nowhere,
Bob slammed him hard with his butt.

Basil's front claws dig in very deep,
Cutting Bob across his head and back.
As fast as they hit the ground real steep,
They get right back up and attack.

Bob dives straight for the rib cage,
His teeth pierces Basil's belly.
All four paws filled with rage,
Tears through Bob like jelly.

Basil has possibly stunned Bob,
As he lays face-first on the ground,
Basil not taking any chances with Bob,
Throws a rope over a branch not making a sound.

He came prepared for Bob it seems,
As he makes a noose to go around Bob's neck.
Bob wakes up to find a new rope necklace and gleams,
Basil's back turned as he secures and checks.

Bob sliding out of the rope quietly and taking hold,
Sneaking up behind Basil to ruin his day.
Basil spots Bob moving slowly; how can he be so bold,
Waiting for Bob to come a little more his way.

Basil turns quickly kicking Bob in the chest,
Bob falls hard as the rope slides right back.
Basil pulls Bob up fast, as in the place he will rest,
Bob jerks and jerks realizing he has lost the attack.

Basil fastens the rope securely to the ground,
Bob stops moving as Basil slowly walks away.
Basil has won this fight as Bob makes no sound,
Headed home for some din-din at the end of the day.
