Suffocate

Im caught as the vines,
Twist around my legs,
So tight they, suffocate,
My arms, now to entwined.

Breathless, I cant make a sound,
No one can see me now,
Too think are black thorns,
Of the vine, by which I am bound.

The thorns stick in my side,
They pierce the skin, entering my flesh,
Injecting its cold, dark poisons,
It cuts deep, working its way inside.

I can feel the pain no more,
The poison viscously attacks my soul,
I can feel the struggle with in me,
The screams of my soul, I cant ignore.

The grip of darkness loosens,
It leaves me tattered and torn,
My soul left feeling raped and cold,
To my weeping soul, I can only listen.

Alone, I uncontrollably shake,
Curled into a ball, I no longer,
Recognise my self, or the feeling,
Eyes closed, praying its a dream, and to wake.

My darkened hollow eyes open,
Im naked laying in the grass and dirt,
Stripped of my hope, and all my dignity,
In this life now, I am just coping.
