Shades and Shadows

by Malboros pipe   Dec 1, 2009

Crystal skies place me far from myself
Deep roots escape me from death
Eternal Soul amplifies my true existence
Shades and shadows protect me from getting wet.

Paint. Masks my road of ideal fate
Heat tarnishes my spirit of tendered ease
Drought, severes my tongue like desert
My fists quench as they start to freeze.
