Scattered leaves

by Maple Tree   Feb 23, 2016

Her eyes saw visions
within a haze of violet
clouds, dusting of tears
and scattered leaves.

It was a tender silence
of still waters, echoed
melodies, and remembrance.

Her soul mates with
balance, curtained breezes
engulf the spirit, while her words
linger mongest trees left behind.

Memiors penned within each
passing season....

I love these two words put together so gracefully... "violet clouds" and "tender silence".

    Beautiful as always!

This reminds me of Autumn, a season between summer and winter. To me it has always been a special but sad season. Just by watching the leaves falling all over the place makes it so more obvious the season is near the end. Violet is a mixture between red and blue and you can really see it on a clowdy day by looking at the sky. It can also represent spiritual fulfillment. Such a beautiful write. Be blessed.

Andrea - there must be something in the air. Beautiful - really, and intensely moving.

    Stay well,
