Balmy by the bay

by Mark   Nov 20, 2017

'Tis quite balmy here by the bay
dally I may and sand I play;
cuddling and muddling into a grainy puddling
I fray away - in this, a golden day.

The scorching sky-ball rays bequeath,
a vermilion wreath on my bones' sheath,
it doth burns and churns yet how lovely the terns
whom glance beneath - ruby me they seeth.

The gulls flock in white lustre
of a cluster paced muster
yet in such rank a gap is manque and in that flank
with no fluster - I desire to soar in bluster.

To fly amidst the cloudy haze
of fluffed graze and twilight maize,
to release the strain and reign of the pain;
of my darkest daze - into the briny bays.

Let tokens of a lost love seep
into the deep where I canst weep
let remnants of swill be fed to brill by powering will
for sea creatures keep - secrets asleep.

Let currents drift my melting plume,
cleansing a hearted tomb of gloom,
from broken sherds whilst girds the birds
In fashioning loom - as I soak in spume.

To that salt queen I exalt a moan
taking in loan a swig of the throne
though it stings and clings I adore summer flings
and return in prone - the blend with my own.

Stumbling now to a neighbouring dune,
I swoon and reflect in boon
that sorrow from Algea I borrow can wait the morrow
for wraiths be hewn - by this remedial tune.

Balmy illuminate! This majestic bay!
Where dreams splay and verily pray,
that waves of oceans bring notions of emotions;
from burdens' weigh - one escapes by the bay!

    A nice piece of writing, and escaping at times helps with the mind. As long as we don't run from things
    A nice flow, with picturesque scene
