Promises Broke.

Promises you've made,
That end up broken.

Numerous privileges given,
That wind up revoked.

I gave you my heart,
You put it on hold.

I gave you my body,
You treated it cold.

I gave you my being,
You crushed my soul.

I gave you my faith,
You let go of hope.

I told you don't hurt me,
Its all I have known.

You proceeded to hate me,
Only negativity you'd show.

Screaming and hollering,
Shoving fear down my throat.

So when you promise me again,
I know its a promise broke.
