Time can't tell

by lisa marie   Jan 24, 2006

He died a long time ago
from the constant calmness
something everyone will feel

if they see the way
the sky lights up
like he noticed

and he held the sky's hand
without an idea of how hard and tight
the atmosphere would hold on

and the never ending
inspiration from a much wiser
older generation
will drown out the sound
of what you really perceive

and someday you'll see it
you'll see the way the sky
will light up
like it never has before

all alone, you'll feel the world stop
and spin the other way

I liked this a lot.. the only thing i have aside from praise is,

and he held the sky's hand
without an idea of how hard and tight
    the atmosphere would hold on

i think the last part about the atmosphere is kind of overdoing the idea,.. i'd explain it more subtly.. but other than that it was awesome..
