The Sacrifice Of Love

by Choose xX Alex Xx Life   Aug 29, 2006

Heart, full of sacred pain.
A sacrifice? A fear.
Broken, shattered through kindness of love,
A blistering burning tear.

An opening to a fierce,
Disaster of emotions inside.
Cowering, shivering left alone,
Real world pushed aside.

What? love a word of sadness,
Commitment of tears, eternity?
Rose without petals, empty, old,
Step out of reality

if you have any more ideas for an ending please let me know thnx xxx Alex xxx

Your poetry is getting better and better as I read more. This is my favorite, so far.

I'm not sure what you could do for an ending, but what you have so far works really well-- the stanzas seem to have a constant format.

    Great work!!! 5/5
