They say, a man who protects too much is possessive
they say, a man who appreciates too much is obsessive

I say, a man who protects is a man afraid of growing apart
I say, a man who appreciate too much, is a man who has a heart

Some don't know what it feels like to lose something you cared so much for
Happened to me couple times and I just won't take it anymore
I won't let her slip out my hands so easy no, just not so easy
I'll stand up for a fight, kick into a gear, I just wont be so sleazy

Go ahead and say I get mad so easy, I don't care what they think
they just never had a loved one taken away, with just one blink
I stand for what I say, I am protective I do have a heart
I do get afraid feelings that, We'd have fallen apart

I'm not going to tell her all these things to try and prove that I love her with these lyrics
I'm going to Show it to her with my Loyalty and respect, and with this poem just to hear it

Yes I'm going to get jealous whenever I hear her name and a guy
I'm going to get upset I'll tell it straight up, I can't even lie
I'm just afraid of losing her, I'm not going to act all big and act like I don't care
I do care, I don't want her out of my life, I want to just always be there

To help when she falls, and let her get back up on her feet
To show her and teach her, that she should never settle for defeat
Just like me, I won't let the fear of her leaving me, defeat me
I'll keep on getting up no matter what, I just wont let it beat me

I may get mad, I may get jealous, I may get sad, It only means I'm in love
