If I die Tonight

by DarkLight   Mar 28, 2014

If I die tonight,
Let my soul to flight,
With the wind as kite.
My body alright
Back home as a knight.

With peaceful heart I leave,
Happily life I live.
No dying word for the brave heart to weep.
The sea and ocean so deep,
My secrets to keep.

Don't frown after am gone,
Celebrate like the day I was born.
Crying and wailing I don't want you to mourn,
For there is so much to make you happy even after my ash is gone.

Talk truth of my pain,
Don't fear my memories will rain.
All the truce done in vain,
Pour them down and let my story die in vane.
For there is nothing will survive my remains...

It reminds me of a soldier in the battlefield. There is always a chance he could lose his life. Excellent write

This comes out like a warrior song one would sing while a solider lay dying, at least that is the image am getting. Still, in all this pain, there is inspiration too..touching write.
