I wish I were beautiful!

by ღ Christina ღ

I see all the girls prettier than me
Wishing to be them, why couldn't it be

All of them are unique, there own sense of style
They seem perfect, even have the greatest smile

People say I'm pretty but I know it's just a lie
Just thinking about it makes me want to cry

What is a reality to you, is a big dream to me
If this feeling is not a big deal, why is it something everybody can see

I cover myself with makeup and blush
Even though my parents say their is no need for such!

I wish I was beautiful my dream so far from coming true
If I could have one wish it would be that I could be as beautiful as you!

================================

I thank the people who commented on me and said i was beautiful! That means a lot to me...knowing that sum1 carez

Well, as for the poem, some of the rhyms seemed somewhat forced, but they worked out okay...

The thought behind the poem is very important...and the sad truth for many.

"I cover myself with makeup and blush
Even though my parents say their is no need for such!"

That's the best part of it...

Beauty sure is a killer...
