Bubble Wrap

by JEFF   Feb 11, 2008

I once worked,
For an auto parts chain.
Selling automotive parts,
Was a great pain.

One day something happened,
Something totally unplanned.
Receiving the weekly stock order,
By the back door is where I stand.

Twelve pallets today,
Stacked seven feet high.
Only three employees on duty,
I asked the manager why.

Unloading the truck fast,
And at a steady pace.
Squeezing the stock in,
Filling up all the space.

One of the boxes,
Filled completely with bubble wrap.
Grabbing as much as I can,
Of this silly and stupid crap.

Headed out the back door,
To throw it in the trash.
Slipping on some of it hanging,
All I see is the ground as I go crash.

I begin to roll,
To soften my fall.
The bubble wrap consumes me.
Wrapping me up like a ball.

Not able to move,
And what do I see.
Two of my co-workers,
Standing there laughing at me.

Saying "Thats not funny",
And "Give me a hand".
I no longer like bubble wrap,
From my arms it has been banned.

This is a true story, that happened to me personally. Every time I tell someone about it, they laugh really hard.
So I'm sharing my pain with all of you, I hope you enjoyed it. :)
