Could You

by Richard Alan   Feb 13, 2008

Could you live it the rapture,
Breath in the rain,
Get caught in that moment,
And let go of your pain?

Could you know that your wise,
But still stay the same?
Could you do a good deed,
And not seek the fame?

Could you remember the sun,
In the light of the stars,
And capture their beauty,
So it could be ours?

Could you defend a belief,
With nothing to gain,
When to the rest of the world,
You just looked insane?

Could you love me today,
And swear it would last,
Embrace in our future,
And let go of your past?

AWWWW, this is so sweet and to answer all those questions, I could do all of that, but why do all those things and not have him feel the say way as you (I) do. I can live in the moment and forget the pain, but will he do the same. I could write forever about this one. All in all this is an awesome poem. Very thought provoking. Excellent

Wow, youre poetry is alot more "mature" than most of the other people on this site (including mine).... Your use of vocabulary is heaps good......
