SUICIDE!

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Feb 18, 2008

His words are like daggers,
Tearing through her chest.
She thought he was different
But he's just like the rest.

He treats her like shit
But expects it to be okay.
Not understanding
That her life is at bay.

Her heart is bleeding,
Ripped so deep.
But her pain's not unseen
For the cuts rapidly seep.

"If he doesn't care,
Why should I?"
She mumbles these words
As she sits and cries.

The razor is in her grasp
And he's to blame.
He's the one
Who's driving her insane.

She'll love him until death,
Which threatens to come soon,
It could be tonight,
Or tomorrow afternoon.

!SUICIDE!
Is right at her hands
But how much more
Will she continue to stand?

The tears flow steady'
Mingling with her blood.
Before you know it
There's a crimson flood.

Blood is soaking through the towel,
And dripping to the tile.
Now maybe he'll see that her pain,
Wasn't just denial.

Maybe he'll understand,
Why he should've listened.
Then maybe her sweet kisses,
He wouldn't be missing.

He was the reason,
She said goodbye
He was with reason
For her !SUICIDE!

Good job on this. The flow was good, the word choice was decent, and the concept was great. How you put !SUICIDE! didn't appeal to me though. Try to refrain from that a little :P Overall great poem! 5/5
