Sorry

by Michelle18   Feb 19, 2008

I'm sorry for being born,
And for being in your life.
I'm sorry for never being wrong,
And for always being right.
I'm sorry for loving you,
And for always being there.
I'm sorry for being true,
And for showing you I care.
I'm sorry for saying "I love you"
And for giving you hope and faith.
I'm sorry for thinking I needed you,
And for thinking you'd keep me safe.
But mostly I'm sorry for dating you,
And thinking love was what I found.
But I'm not sorry for hating you,
And for no longer being around.

    Awwwww, very sad....
this poem is unique. so many feelings mixed in this poem!! the repition of "i'm sorry for" makes it flow good and emphasizes the emotion of the poem
like in last your poem i've commented, the ending is unexpected and changes the whole meqaning and it's great. your poems are like a pazzle with an answer in the end, lol))

Great write! You've managed to use sorry many different times without wearing out the word! Thats talented... The flow was good, the word usage was great, and the concept was really good! 5/5

I really liked this one. I kept hoping that it wasn't going to turn out badly :( I think you've done well because you've managed to keep the flow equal with repeating "I'm sorry" without it getting monotonous. Well done 5/5 xxx
