You Killed Our love

by Jodie Phillips   Feb 19, 2008

Love is like a flower
It needs constant care in order to grow.
Everyday attention
Time and dedication.
If it is neglected
For sure it will be affected.
You cant think to yourself
It will be OK
Before you know it you don't give it the time of day.
Then all that hard work goes straight down the drain.
I know how that feels
The pain from your loss it never heals.
You made our love die, why?
Why didn't you shower me with respect?
Why did you only water me with neglect?
You can't expect me to last forever?
I need sunlight, not horrible weather.
Like petals falling, tears i cry
Why did you let our love die.
