I give myself to you

I ask for you to guide me Lord,
Lead me down the right path.
Give me the strength I need,
So my heart will no longer bleed.

For a road without a purpose,
Is one I no longer want to go down.
A life without the will of God,
With your cross I tote as my crown.

For you gave your life for all of man,
To walk as equals on earth was your plan.
I worship you and ask for forgiveness,
My sins of my past are without happiness.

So all I ask is for your trust and love,
Watch over my family and friends from up above.
For your creation of this place for which we live,
I offer my love, my life, and a new future I give.
