Already Soaked

I don't know if it's worth it,
This pain I feel inside,
So many answers floating about,
I still wonder if you lied.

Every single thing she says,
Leaves a break inside my heart,
And no one knows, not even you,
That it's making me fall apart.

As I sit here and write this,
The tears won't stop, just fall,
But, I guess this is what I deserve,
For everything my heart never saw.

Tell me this... was she worth it?
I feel this just may be the end,
It's not fair baby, not at all,
My heart may not ever mend.

The hands on the clock keep moving,
Time is starting to run out,
I just can't hold on.. keep slipping..
This is what sadness is all about.

What did I do to deserve this?
I gave you all I could, everything,
And was left with no happiness,
Just sad songs for me to sing.

So, please keep in mind,
I was the one that broke,
Just leave me to drown in my tears,
Oh look, I'm already getting soaked.
