Little girl

by StandStill   Mar 6, 2008

Little girl
dry your eyes
tomorrow
everything will be alright

little girl
sing a song
the sun will be coming out
shouldn't be too long

little girl
do a dance
watch the beautiful horses
run and prance

little girl
do not change
don't be like me
don't grow up to be strange

young woman
when did you grow up?
started to drown your sorrows
in a cup

young woman
drop that pill
it won't help you
it will only kill

young woman
you're so pretty
so don't worry
if your waist is itty-bitty

young woman
you did i what i said not
but i guess that's what i mean
when they say the kettle called the pot

young woman
you threw it away
i miss when you wanted to be something
i miss those days

young woman
you shouldn't have done
all that crap
i told you grown up life wasn't any fun.

young woman
now your heart will break
you shouldn't have grown up
that was a mistake.

    Wow I like it. The ending is much much better and I like how you fixed this part;

    "young woman
    drop that pill
    it won't help you
    it will only kill"

Good job! Feel free to check out any of my stuff. x
