One Drop of Rain

A rain drop slowly falls to the ground
As more fall and scatter all around
A glistening pool to see your reflection
Make up is smeared in all different directions

As your tears mix with the water that washes them away
You pray for once you might somehow find your way...
The clouds get darker
And your heart heavier

You sit down on the muddy carpet and sigh...
The whole time happy memories flash behind your eyes...
Who am I and what have I done
I hate her, this woman I have become

You pull a gun out and your gonna end it all...putting it to your head...
Finally for once not having to worry about the harsh things that have been said...
And only one thing saved your life...
Prolonging you from a life of forever beeing in strife

A drop of rain hits a puddle just right
Showing you life is worth the fight...
With the gun now dropped and the water swallowing it
You close your eyes and you make just one wish....

And as you look back and see how far you've come...
And how close you came to doing what you would of done....

However crazy this may sound the only thing that saved you was that ONE drop of rain
