The Pain I've Caused

I'm dying inside,
Knowing that I hurt her.
She's my life, my anchor that keeps me here.

I can't believe I've done this,
caused her so much pain.
I wish that I could hold her,
and tell her I'm sorry.

I just don't want her to feel pain,
because of me.
Yet that is all I cause for her.

I want to make her happy,
but I can't.
She deserves so much better.
So much more than I can give.

I want to fix everything,
but how can I?
She won't talk to me,
because I hurt her.

And I can't blame her,
because I'm the one at fault.
I'm sorry.
