Why do you take pleasure in putting me down?

Why do you take pleasure in putting me down?
How can you just get me to frown?

I can't keep up with your expectations
And just except torture coming from no explanations
Stop it! you're making me feel depressed
Killing me inside, my heart compressed
Like hard pulled ropes my intestines are tied
Squirming in pain, I just want to hide

You are the darkest shadow I've seen
One that sucks out the person I've been
Leaving me lifeless, numb to the bone
Shivering inside a person who once shone
My eyes have dried out, of all sorrow tears
The pupils have blistered, redness hiding my fears
My brain's throbbing like hell on overload
Molecules full of resentment, they'd easily explode

There are other people who treat me the same
They lower my class and make me seem lame
Few in the world have a heart nowaday
And those are the people who sweep me away
Make me feel like a queen with them on my side
In a kingdom of magic, peace and love we abide

Obtain from our morals, be true to your soul
Be human, have feelings, patch your heart's hole
Then you may live in a balmy, melodious euphony
Dance and sing, express life's symphony
Then these questions will stop being controlling
Until then they will always wrinkle my brain, asking:

Why do you take pleasure in putting me down?
How can you just get me to frown?
