Alone

by Amber   Mar 14, 2008

Mommy, where are you?
Please stop, hiding I counted
to 20 and looked all over.

Why are so many kids here?
Maybe their Mommy's are
hiding also.

Mommy I am waiting for
you. It seems like hours
have gone by.

Tick tock goes
the clock.

I do not like this game
anymore. I want you to
come back.

Please, I want you to
say you love me one
more time.

I know I am bad
but I promise I
will be good.

Your back! But when
I turn around, it is
not you.

Who are you? What
do those papers mean?
I see my name on them.

Don't touch me! I
don't know you! I
am going to wait
for my mommy no
matter what.

She is coming back,
I know it.

It was a different style of writing poetry and although i'm not familiar with it, it still displayed the emotions very well. good job, keep it up :]
