My Sister, A Jimmy John's Sub

by Stephanie   Mar 15, 2008

I wrote this poem for my older sister. If you haven't eaten Jimmy John's subs, you haven't lived yet!!!!!!! It is DAMN GOOD! Especially in Gainesville , FL.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

My sister,
A Jimmy John's sub,
More warm and pleasing than a back rub
First, there's the bread,
Always warm with a sweet butter spread

Then there's the meat,
For a sister that cannot be beat

Next, the mustard that's full of spice
Flavorful, delightful, and very nice

The creamy mayo with a taste of mild,
May seem plain but has a punch of wild

Juicy red tomato that's actually a fruit,
It's clear to see that there's no substitute

Next, the lettuce that's crisp and munchy,
She's always up, working out, and doing crunchies

Add some onions if you want,
She's very stylish, not afraid to flaunt

When the final sub is done, all tasty n' new,
Your body has a warm feeling with every chew
I feel it too,
When I 'm with you
Thank you,
For all you do
