Reminiscense of a Serial Killer

by Beautiful Forever   Mar 15, 2008

The torture is propelling,
My mind is compelling,
Anything I see,
These thoughts are deadly,

A shine of silver flashes,
The fire reflects in the ashes,
A crescendo catches my attention,
Just more of my past, I won't mention,

Screams of death echo all around,
The corpses move inside the ground,
Death lingers over my shoulder,
Moving closer as I get older,

It's going to get me one day,
And I know what I'll say,
"I'm not sorry for what I've done",
"I'll only fall to my own gun",

With that I'll put the gun on my head,
Preparing myself to join the dead,
The last crescendo will echo all around,
As I join the victims, underground.

A rather good piece. It was very well written, and was worded brillaintly. It also had a great flow and great rhymes. I could really sense the character, I could almost hear them speaking the words ( I know that sounds a little over the top, but its true).
