A fathers final act

by Darkangel   Mar 16, 2008

I hear loud screaming,
a door slams
and mom cries...
scene goes dark

Lets begin act 2
Our electricity gets cut off, we live on a generator
and we hear nothing from you
Then again, what did I expect
You replaced us with a new family, so we here
so ends act 2

Act 3 begins in the winter
where our heat and water have been turned off
people are starting to talk about us
do you even care?
Of course you don't
you left us, silly me

Act 4, the final act
we've got a new house
you call and want to talk to us, we only laugh
being a crackhead doesn't pay, I guess
your out of a job, and a family

so sit there, smoke your crack
we've gone through a year without you
your not our father anymore
so ends your final act

(I wrote this after my dad left my family homeless for 8 months after getting hooked on crack)
