Except you

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Mar 20, 2008

You were a neglected daughter
And I was a lost son
It seems almost perfect
That we should become one

Your parents weren't there
Mine didn't understand
It's like our history and our future
Seem to walk hand in hand

I'm hopeless in beauty
You're lost in my eyes
Through all the hate around us
Still we shall rise

There is nothing
Nothing to relax my view
No drugs, no slow songs,
Nothing, except you
