I Walk Alone

by The Saint   May 22, 2004

I walk alone
no one is there
the steps guide me
i don't know where

so cold outside
the sun which set
the empty streets
make me forget

dreams try to show
your picture clear
in waves of steam
they disappear

your eyes your lips
are far away
it's obsolete
the wish to stay

so cold outside
the sun which set
the empty streets
make me forget

the nights when we
together were
when we just had
nothing to care

i walk alone
no one is there
the steps guide me
i don't know where...

    i like your variant Randy.
i don't know if what i wrote is correct in English. "together were". what i mean to say is "when we were together" but i couldn't find a better sentence topic (my English knowledge has some limits... for the moment)

    or maybe i could suggest

    you have:

    the nights when we
    together were
    when we just had
    nothing to care

    nights when we were
    together where
    we just had
    nothing to care
