My glass heart

What do you want
from me? Do you
want me to lie and
tell you I'm glad you
broke my heart into
a million pieces?

Tell you that it's
alright, it was only
my heart? Is my
heart not important
enough for you?

Tell you to just leave
the glistening red pieces
of my shattered glass
heart lying on the ground?

Well obviously you don't
care or else you would
have picked up the sharp
jagged pieces and tried
to put them together.

And when you would have
you would have discovered
a big whole missing from
the piece you would have stolen.

The piece that you have kept
for your greedy self, to play
and torture me with.

Oh but don't worry Hun,
because I have others
that can fill your gap for
me.

Others that mold their heart
just right so it will fill that big
gap you left.

Others that actually care
for and love for me. So don't
worry too much even though
I know you will not worry one
bit.

Lets hope these others are not
like you were. Lets hope they
are smarter than you. I think
they are because they risk
cutting themselves on my
glass heart.

My glass heart that lies on the
floor waiting just waiting for these
others to figure out exactly how
to put it together.

Waiting for them to give up and leave
my red glistening glass heart lying their
because it breaks to easily. But so far
noone has given up yet on me and
My Glass Heart.
