The Angel

I wish I could really
be that angel that
can take all your pain
and suffering away.

The angel whose
magical touch would
suck all the bad things
out of your life.

The angel whose
magical singing
voice can make
your world and
your life all better
with one soft magical
note.

The angel that
when she did this
she would bring all
your pain and suffering
into her body.

The angel whose
pain and suffering
would be her own
reward because
she took yours
away.

Oh how I really wish
I could be this angel.

I wish I could be
your angel forever,
but I am no angel I
am just a human
with no wings nor
magical power nor
do I live in Heaven.

I am not your angel
like I wanted to be.
