The Beauty of Death

by Beautiful Forever   Mar 26, 2008

The golden winds of time pass,
As he's lost staring at the glass,
Fragments of the sun reflect in his eyes,
Using beauty as it's permanent disguise,

Brilliant sun rays in a broken reflector,
A miserable fool, who couldn't protect her,
Beautifully written notes of "I love you",
All create a tragic story without an "I do",

Watering eyes flow beyond time and space,
As her loving heart died - leaving a trace,
Her eyes glistening with the tears of love,
As her spirit ascended, falling above,

You would assume she was crying from death,
But "I love you" was her final breath,
She wasn't crying tears of a broken soul,
It was the rejoicing of being whole,

His heart beat was gone as well,
With a final breath, lost in a yell,
Only a man who had lost it all,
Could let such restricted tears fall,

He said "Goodbye" as he picked up the knife,
Already prepared to end his meaningless life,
His body turned cold as he laid on hers,
Creating a beautiful scene, of two true lovers...
